"The status of the Provisional IRA is not for me to comment" - PSNI Chief Constable Simon Byrne quizzed on status of PIRA.

An elected representative Paul Givan asks a simple question of our Chief Constable - does the PIRA exist? Simon Byrne refuses to answer it. Why on earth would that question from an MLA be refused by our head of policing? He is pushing our elected representatives on to the Northern Ireland Office rather than him answering it directly. Is it not dangerous that the NIO will decide when its politically expedient for a politician to be told? The facts are the facts. The PSNI have commented on the UVF, they do talk about dissidents - but they will not answer a simple question to DUP MLA Paul Givan. Stephen spoke to Paul Givan, former senior police officer Jim Gamble, UUP MLA Doug Beattie.

Also on the programme, earlier this week Stephen spoke to Michael, he got in touch after being in the audience for Nolan Live. He was so inspired by 麻豆社 NI's Stephen Watson that he decided that he wanted to donate a kidney. When he was speaking to him a few days ago we were short for time so he promised that we would get him back on. Just a warning there may be some things in this interview that some listeners may find upsetting.

And, First Minister Arlene Foster and deputy First Minister Michelle O'Neill will meet the new Secretary of State Brandon Lewis this morning to discuss Brexit and the government promises made in New Decade, New Approach. Mr Lewis has replaced Julian Smith who was sacked yesterday. What can we expect from the new Secretary of State? Stephen spoke to NI Conservative and businessman Frank Shivers and Ben Lowry Deputy Editor of the Newsletter.
