Yesterday afternoon - "Ooh ah up the ra" - those were the lyrics being blasted out of a Sinn Fein election candidate's van in the Cavan/Monaghan constituency. The video, featuring the pro-IRA song, was sent yesterday afternoon to the Nolan Show. The vehicle has the Sinn Fein candidate Pauline Tully's name on it and was playing Celtic Symphony by the Wolfe Tones which includes the lyrics "Ooh ah up the ra". Stephen got reaction from commentators Nelson McCausland and Phil Kelly.

Also on the programme, the mother of Paul Quinn has spoken to Sinn F茅in leader Mary Lou McDonald after controversy over accusations Minister Conor Murphy made about her son. The 21-year-old from County Armagh was beaten to death in a barn in County Monaghan in 2007. Speaking at the time, MLA Conor Murphy said Mr Quinn had links to criminality. On Wednesday, Mr Murphy withdrew the remarks and apologised to the Quinn family for the hurt they had caused. Breege spoke to Stephen again this morning.

And, a brand new comedy starts tomorrow on 麻豆社 Radio Ulster putting a Northern Ireland twist on love and romance. "How To Have A Northern Irish Wedding" follows twenty-something Belfast 'Bridezilla' Sarah and her hapless husband-to-be Jack, in planning their big day - on a budget. The six part comedy is by local writer and comedian Ciar谩n Bartlett, he joined Stephen in studio this morning along with Marc McElroy, Series Producer.
