A Nolan exclusive - major questions around election in Northern Ireland. A whistle blower who worked in the Electoral Office speaks out.
This morning - a potential political bombshell. The Nolan Show has heard claims which may question the integrity of the election result in Northern Ireland. Yes - this story is that big. For example, could the result in Fermanagh and South Tyrone have been different? It came down to 57 votes. Tom Elliot came that close to Michelle Gildernew. Were any of his potential voters were wrongly denied registration by the Electoral Office and there may, after today's story - be other candidates wondering about their results too. Maybe they could have won by more - maybe not. And what about the results in North Belfast and East Belfast? We do not know, but the information we are about to place into the public domain questions whether everyone who was entitled to a vote, got it - and, if the concerns we have heard are well founded, then how much of a difference did that make? The public will want to know as soon as possible if the Electoral Commission can reassure them that the election results are safe.
