Cyclists call it a "punishment pass". That's when a driver comes way too close when sweeping past a rider.
From today, drivers in the Republic are facing heavier fines for the offence of dangerously overtaking a cyclist.
The penalty is going up from 80 to 120 Euro, plus three penalty points.
Should NI follow suit?
