Colum Arbuckle’s guests are Gill Michael and Hubert Curran – both were in health care during their long careers.

Gill was an almoner in London, and then she went on to become a lecturer in social studies on both sides of the Atlantic.

Hubert was at the cutting edge quite literally. He was a surgeon before eventually settling down to general practice in East Belfast.
