The fun-loving Riley family from Guildford are hoping their team spirit will carry them through to next week’s semi-final, led by photographer mum RachelÌýandÌýengineer dad Michael,Ìýably supported by daughter and drama fan Lizzy, 14, and keen problem solver Ben, 11.

Standing in their way and hoping to win the battle of the brains are the competitive Kerr family, includingÌýOxford-educated fundraiser mum Nikki, ex-maths teacher and fellow Oxford-alumni gran Kate, and sons Sam, 11, who is a reading enthusiast, and aspiring palaeontologist Ben, nine.Ìý
