Adam Watson is a thirty-eight-year old dairy farmer in Coleraine, who is happily married with a baby son. However, three years ago with the mounting strain of falling milk prices and financial pressures, his mental health became so badly affected, that he considered taking his own life. Today he has opened up about his mental health struggle in his blog: adams2016.home.blog – in a bid to encourage others suffering in silence to ask for help.

And in September 2018, Benjamin Davis was victim of a road traffic accident in California and tragically passed away. Over 5000 miles away, bringing Benjamin home to Lisburn seemed an overwhelming challenge to the Davis family. However, the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust were able to provide financial assistance and coordinated the various steps in repatriating Benjamin back home. In an effort to help support families who find themselves in similar tragic circumstances, the Davis family are running a Summer Garden KBRT fundraiser this Saturday in Bladon Park, Belfast.
