Entertainment giants threaten to boycott state of Georgia over abortion rights. Could NI's TV and film industry be at risk because of our abortion laws?

Could Northern Ireland's TV and film industry be at risk because of our abortion laws? Entertainment giants Disney and Netflix have warned politicians in the state of Georgia in America that they are unlikely to make any more films there, if new stricter abortion laws are introduced. Georgia is the third-largest film production hub in the US. So it's a big decision to quit working there. But what about here? Well Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner says she will join the boycott and she also said she was glad to be moving on from filming in Northern Ireland. Stephen spoke to commentator Amanda Ferguson and Bernie Smyth from Precious Life.

Also on the programme, there was no cover-up of the shooting dead of 10 people in Ballymurphy - that's the claim made by the former head of the Army. General Sir Mike Jackson - speaking at the inquest into the shootings - called it a "preposterous accusation". There was laughter from the public gallery when the former Army chief said "we don't do conspiracies". General Jackson was being questioned about why soldiers involved in the shootings were not interviewed by the Royal Military Police at the time. Stephen spoke to Irish News Security Correspondent Allison Morris who has been following the inquest.

And, the Nolan Show has learned that Larne Grammar School is to reduce its school day due to staff and budget restraints. From September class time will be reduced by 20 minutes. Margaret has children at the school - she spoke to Stephen alone with Michael Allen who runs Lisneal College - last week he warned on this show of schools going to a 4 day week.
