Ginger Wildheart
Wildhearts frontman Ginger Wildheart chooses his Rock God.
The Wildhearts brand new album 'Renaissance Man' is fresh on the shelves, they're starting a UK tour and we are happy Ginger Wildheart is in fine fettle. A staple of the British rock sound of the 90s, the Wildhearts epitomised the flipside of grunge and Britpop. They sounded like nothing else and forged their own path during the era of the Seattle sound and Blur vs Oasis. Though life has had its ups and downs for the band, they're back out on the road with a fresh batch of tunes. Ginger features on the show, revealing exactly who influenced him as a frontman and musician. Also, we look at This Week In Rock with a momentous gig for the Who. Plus, Johnnie's got the best of this week's new releases and his pick of the tunes from five decades of rock.
