Sinn Fein under fire for Irish border "Berlin Wall" warning.
Do you remember the Berlin Wall? It was a 96-mile-long barrier of concrete and barbed wire barrier, patrolled by armed border guards and watched over by lookout towers. It stood for nearly 30 years and more than 130 people died trying to cross it. It divided families, communities and the states of East and West Germany before it was demolished in 1989. Sinn Fein leader Mary Lou McDonald recalled the Berlin Wall when she spoke to journalists in London yesterday - echoing comments she made outside the Dail last Thursday. So, is that a fair comparison to make? Stephen got the views of commentators Nelson McCausland and Phil Kelly.
Also on the programme, Green party leader Claire Bailey says there's far too much influence from churches on sex education in Northern Ireland. And it's revealed 20 senior council employees in Northern Ireland are paid more than 拢100,000 a year. Is that too much? Or is it the going rate for the best people for those top jobs?
