Glamour, makeup and Friends

Is the idea of beauty and glamour tied to makeup? And is someone really a friend if you haven't seen or spoken to them in over a year? Vinny and guests are on the case!

This week both Virgin Atlantic and Aer Lingus announced that it was no longer compulsory for their cabin crew to wear makeup.

A sign of the times or the end of glamour - Is beauty and glamour tied to makeup - I mean in the age of HD TV -which I can testify is very unforgiving -don't we all need a little help to get there?

And are true friends the ones who will be there for you? Should we benefit from our friendships and is someone we haven't seen or spoken to in 12 months really a friend?

Vinny is joined by Nicola Weir and Brenda McNeill.

Our miniseries "What I wish I'd Known when I was 25" continues with storyteller and writer Jim Deeds.
