We hear about the case of Cyntoia Brown and calls to reform the way US state laws treat women who kill their abusers. She has served fifteen years after being convicted of killing a man who had bought her for sex and was recently granted clemency by the Governor of Tennessee following a high-profile, public campaign. We discuss new research that suggests there may be lower risks associated with HRT patches and gels and talk about how women and their GPs should weigh up the risks and benefits. Do universities need to provide formal maternity leave policies for for their students? And, we hear about new Channel 4 series Flirty Dancing which gives participants the chance to meet their partner on the dance floor from presenter Ashley Banjo.
