Roma investigation, Top Table school takeover, and what does your Christmas d茅cor say about you?
On Monday a Nolan Show investigation brought you a shocking secret recording from a Roma Church service in Belfast. It was Aurel Nicola - the chair of the Roma charity RRCANI - and the leader of the Roma Penticostal Church in the Holylands in Belfast. The Nolan Show can reveal this morning that because of those intimidating comments - Aurel Nicola's church is no longer welcome at City Church in south Belfast. After this Sunday, City Church will no longer lease their building to Mr Nicola's Church. They have told his son Nicolae Nicola the reason, and that is that "one of their church leaders used the church platform to encourage intimidation within their own community." A large part of Aurel Nicola's comments were aimed at a health worker. Mr Nicola denies making the comments we have broadcast in our translated recording. We are still waiting for him to explain that to us. Mr Nicola had told us, via his solicitors that he "exercises some level of control in the spiritual well-being of the community." Clearly City Church did not believe that this particular sermons was in the interest of the spiritual well-being of the community.
Also on the programme, yesterday there was a big Top Table school takeover! We were at Belfast Boys' Model School in North Belfast for the debate. Joining pupils from Boys Model, Mercy College and Blessed Trinity College - we had SDLP's Claire Hanna, Alliance Party's Naomi Long and DUP's Jim Wells. Stephen found out what DUP MLA Jim Wells and commentator Chris Donnelly made of the debate.
And, no coloured fake trees, door bows or tinsel - and do not put your tree up until mid-December! Some of the advice from etiquette expert William Hanson. He says your decor can reveal your social class. What do you reckon? Do you think about your social class when you're decking your halls? William debates with commentators Tina Calder and Chris Suitor.
All that and more on the biggest show in the country...
