The Michelle Obama Effect and Women in the Middle Ages
As Michelle Obama releases her memoir, we discuss what impact she has had on women around the world. Plus a major exhibition giving new insight into women in the Middle Ages.
As Michelle Obama releases her memoir Becoming, we ask what impact she has had on women around the world.
A new 麻豆社 Four drama, There She Goes, focuses on the life of a family where Rosie, a nine-year-old girl, has a learning disability. We discuss the representation on screen of parenting children with learning disabilities.
We also hear from a mother in Scotland who's just managed to get nappies for older children stocked in 450 supermarkets. She began campaigning 3 years when she couldn't find nappies large enough for her disabled son who is now 7.
We know very little about women in the Middle Ages? But the largest ever exhibition on the history, literature and culture of Anglo-Saxon England is set to change this.
