Episode 2
Heartwarming drama. Frank realises that he needs to take a step back so that Carys can learn how to run the business. A themed weekend proves a great success.
Carys is taking over and being quite condescending to her father in the process. It is annoying to Frank, and they argue. It is hard for Frank to take a step back - but he realises it's the only way she will learn. Carys is full of big ideas, and she and Frank finally agree on a new strategy of themed weekends. For the first one, Carys hopes to capitalise on the mythology of the area of Snowdonia and beyond. When the weekend is set up, it all looks amazing, but it is the first time Glan Mor has had tourers on site and there is much consternation with the regulars. But the event is a great success - until two rival re-enactment factions, drunk on moonshine, start fighting, and it is up to Frank to break it up. Is Carys sure she can run this place? Iona ups the offer on Daffodil Dunes, and it looks like her interest in Frank is purely business. Will he be tempted? Frank tells Stip about the offer to buy - but also that Carys is staying permanently. Stip gives good counsel - maybe it's just what Frank needs, his family back with him, semi-retirement - what could be better? But Kitty is tentative - will Carys really be staying put. Frank must do what's best for him, not the rest of the village - or even his daughter and grandson.
