Thin Lizzy and Black Star Riders Scott Gorham picks a guitar legend for his very own Rock God plus we reach 'G' in Johnnie's ultimate A-Z of Rock.

Guitarist and songwriter Scott Gorham chooses his very own Rock God for Johnnie and explains how a bold meeting with his hero secured his 'Rock God' status in Scott's eyes.

Scott Gorham is Californian by birth but now lives in England. He came to the UK in the early 1970's and joined Irish rockers Thin Lizzy in 1974. Scott perfected the band's twin guitar sound with the likes of Gary Moore and Brian Robertson, in the group fronted by one-of-a-kind frontman and bassist, the late Phil Lynott.

Scott now plays in Black Star Riders with former Almighty singer Ricky Warwick on vocals. Their last album 'Heavy Fire' came out in 2017 and they are playing festivals across Europe for the summer.

The A-Z of Rock continues and we're now up to 'G'. Who or what G will make it into our list? Green Day? Girlschool? Genesis? There are lots of 'G's but we can only have one!

Plus we'll also have a few new releases from the world of rock and a slew of excellent tracks from across the decades too.
