Johnnie Walker returns with week 3 of the Radio 2 Rock Show. This week, we hear from one of the most revered voices in Rock, plus we'll play the greatest rock from across the decades to choice new releases.

Deep Purple's legendary frontman Ian Gillan is in Russia at the moment, from where he'll send his 'Rock God' pick. Ian's been at the helm of one of Britain's most important rock bands for more than 40 years - on and off. He also sang for Black Sabbath during one of their many line-up changes. Deep Purple themselves have had several line-ups too, with Gillan featuring in what's often referred to as the classic 'Mark ll' era, which was also the most commercially successful. Deep Purple were inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame in 2016. Get ready for Ian to reveal all about the flame-filled rocker who inspired his own rock n' roll journey.
