The NHS celebrates its 70th birthday this week. We look back at the women who have shaped the health service and made it what it is today, with medical historians Kristin Hussey and Professor Sally Sheard.
After ten years as a barrister in criminal and family courts Sarah Langford has stories to tell from the legal front line. She joins Jane to share her experiences of life at the Bar.
Who are the women of world music? As part of the Woman's Hour Power List, we speak to Stephanie Adamu, an events manager in Afrobeats music, Jo Frost, the editor of world music magazine Songlines and Yazz Ahmed, a British Bharani trumpet player.
What are the barriers that prevent women getting into politics? Professor Rosie Campbell brings us new research which shows that one of the biggest hurdles might be money. Sam Smethers, CEO of the Fawcett Society explains how they'll be equipping women to get into political office.
