John Morrison is in conversation with Donald Macleod about the Lockerbie bombing in December 1988 when an American Pan-Am flight came down over the Dumfriesshire town, killing 270 people.
Donald was working as a news photographer for The Scotsman newspaper and he recalls the terrible scenes which greeted him on his arrival in the town on the night of the atrocity. Daylight the following morning revealed the full horror facing the town and Donald remembers the sight of bodies and aircraft debris strewn across Lockerbie and the surrounding countryside.
Donald also recalls how, as a professional on assignment, you have to leave personal feelings to one side and concentrate on getting the job done.
