Drummin' Man
John Petters is a major force in British jazz. He talks to Walter Love about his impressive career.
John Petters started young - as a two year old he first became aware of music through the gramophone. Since those early days he has become a major force in jazz as organiser of stage shows, festivals, clubs, and as drummer and band leader. This edition of Jazz Club includes a discussion on his career illustrated by many of his recordings, including sessions with Yank Lawson, Wild Bill Davison, Art Hodes and Kenny Davern.
