The latest extraordinary revelations from the RHI Inquiry
This morning, we want to talk to you about deeply concerning activity by the DUP's Andrew Crawford. This programme has been edited since transmission.
This morning, we want to talk to you about deeply concerning activity by the DUP's Andrew Crawford. He was Arlene Foster's right hand man for many years and was her special advisor. There is no evidence or suggestion that Arlene Foster knew anything about it. And remember - this man Andrew Crawford - is still being paid for, by you, to be an advisor to the DUP's Diane Dodds. But here's what was happening that you the public never knew about. Andrew Crawford was inappropriately giving confidential, government documents to the First Minister's son - Gareth Robinson. Inquiry counsel Joseph Aiken said the content of the letter may not have provided any advantage but it should not have been done. Mr Crawford told the RHI Inquiry that he couldn't remember why he did it. Stephen spoke to Newsletter political editor Sam McBride, legal expert Joshua Rozenberg and we took your calls.
Also on the programme, three women took what they said were abortion pills outside the High Court in Belfast yesterday during a protest against Northern Ireland's strict laws on terminations. The drugs were delivered using a robot operated in the Netherlands and there was a heavy police presence at the demonstration. One woman was spoken to by police but no arrests were made. Our reporter, Nicola Weir, was there... And she begins her report by speaking to one of the organiser, Eleanor Crossey Malone from ROSA Northern Ireland.
And, the biggest book club in the country is back with Paula Hawkins' 'Into the Water', reviewed by Sarah Travers.
All that and more on the biggest show in the country.
