Ruairidh Alastair MacLennan investigates the rising popularity of the vegan lifestyle. He finds out why many are turning to a life without meat, dairy, eggs or any other products derived from animals and sees for himself how tasty vegan food can be. As well as speaking to Eilidh Miller who has been vegan for over a year, he visits a vegan festival in Glasgow to sample some of the food for himself - and is very pleasantly surprised. He also visits Whitmuir Farm near West Linton to find out if there is an ethical alternative for those who want to eat meat and dairy produce.
