Django Django live in Session

Marc's celebrates 麻豆社 Music's The Big Weekend taking his show to Belfast this evening and welcoming indie rock band Django Django with a live session. Formed back in 2009, the band's lead singer Vinnie is from Norther Ireland. They released their third album, Marble Skies, in January this year and are currently on tour.

There's a Manic Q&A (a series of daft questions asked by Marc to a series of serious musical artists) from lead guitarist of The Undertones, Damian O'Neill, who reveals some interesting insights into life with the band back in the day. Plus there's the Parallel Universe with Rob Hughes who joins Marc in Belfast to talk about how music papers from yesteryear reported on music in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Rob is a music journalist of many years standing and has been on the show for over 10 years dissecting gig reviews, band articles and daft stories found in old NME's, Sounds and Melody Makers. And there will be archive sessions from Jesus and Mary Chain, Claire Hamill and the Pretty Things.
