Kim Jong-un becomes the first North Korean leader to set foot in South Korea at the start of an historic summit.
Technically, they're still at war. But North and South Korea have held an historic summit. Kim Jong-un became the first North Korean leader to walk on South Korean soil. He crossed the military line that has separated the two states since the end of the Korean war in 1953, and was greeted in the demilitarised zone by the South's president, Moon Jae-in. Kim Jong-un wrote in the guest book, "a new history begins now" and told the meeting he wanted the talks to be a success.
