Mark and Stuart chat to author Irvine Welsh about his latest novel - a new story involving his characters from Trainspotting. The Edinburgh-born writer published his debut novel Trainspotting in 1993 - it has sold over a million copies in the UK and was adapted into a cult film directed by Danny Boyle and starring Ewan McGregor, Robert Carlyle and Jonny Lee Miller. Another of Irvine's books was adapted into T2: Trainspotting, a sequel that reunited the original cast and crew, last year. He joins Mark and Stuart to discuss the latest adventures of Renton, Begbie, Sick Boy and Spud.
