21/02/2018 - 'But he didn't turn around'

Sean was on a London bus and saw Joe Brown so he had to knock on the window. As you do.

Why do we knock on the window if we're in a bus and see someone walking on the street? Sean did it in the 1960s when he spotted Joe Brown going into a theatre in London.
A listener requests Muhammad Ali singing 'Stand By Me'. A great boxer but not a good singer (but who was going to tell him?)
Nobody's Darling But Mine is nearly a yodelling song but Frank Ifield resists the temptation. Janet has brought greaseproof paper in to see if it works with Sean's comb but he now wants to be a drummer after hearing Call Me Number One by The Tremeloes. Who was the 麻豆社 engineer who could play music on the saw? He had one of those names that you can't forget. Except that Sean can't remember it. Music from Paper Lace, Dave Clark Five, Alvin Stardust, The Seekers, Joe Brown and more.
