Stuart Maconie presents solo and is joined by singer songwriter Lloyd Cole. Lloyd began his pop music career as lead singer of Lloyd Cole and the Commotions. The band formed while Lloyd was studying at Glasgow University in the early 80s and they released their debut album 'Rattlesnakes' and singles 'Perfect Skin' and 'Forest Fire' in 1984. After two further albums with the band, Lloyd went solo and moved to New York and has since released twelve studio albums ranging in styles from electric rock'n'roll to folk via experimental electronica. Ahead of his latest tour he chats to Stuart about his life in music.
