As Â鶹Éç Radio 6 Music celebrates New York, Craig speaks to the legendary DJ John Morales. At 12 years old John got his first job working in a local record store being paid in records rather that dollars. His ever growing record collection helped him land his first DJ gig at the Stardust Ballroom in the Bronx. As his reputation grew, Morales was invited downtown to Manhattan to play guest spots at the likes of Pippins, Bentleys, 1018, Limelight and the infamous Studio 54.
