Two hours of chat and music with John Carmichael broadcasting LIVE from the Â鶹Éç studios in Glasgow. John welcomes special guest Donald Macleod, fisherman from Isle of Barra. Donald was awarded an MBE in 2013 for services to maritime safety as coxswain on the Barra RNLI lifeboat. After 30 years working on a fishing boat, along with two friends, he formed a company that farms oysters on Barra. In his spare time he enjoys listening to music and also fixing and repairing all sorts of items in his shed. during the show, Donald will reveal his 4 favourite pieces of music which will accompany John's own exceptional array of music including Americana, folk, Celtic and country and western. Stand by for some old classics and newly released songs.
