19/01/2018 'I Say A Hairnet Was Involved, She Says It Was Just Hairspray'
Sean presents requests, dedications and lots of good music to brighten the morning.
Joe is having a dispute with his sister about how beehive hairdos were kept up. He says a hairnet and lacquer were involved. She says it was just hairspray.
Sean is trying to claim snooker player Mark Allen for Derry because his mother lived around the corner from him.
The Clapped Out Carpet Fitter woke up this morning singing The Crack Was Ninety In The Isle Of Man.
Sean remembers when a good-looking boy was known as a 'vision'. Blaithin says she and her friends used to shout 'Hey dreamboat!' at passing boys. If one turned round they'd shout "Not you, shipwreck".
Music from The Royal Showband, The Turtles, Hank Locklin, Cliff Richard, Ottillie Patterson, Trini Lopez and more.
