Helen Mark is in Aghadowey to hear about the 300th anniversary of the Great Migration, and there are poems from Davy Moore of east Antrim and the Bard of Aghdowey, Wilson Burgess.
Helen Mark talks to Sam Burnside about his new collection of poems reflecting on the memorial site at Brackfield Bawn to the tens of thousands from Ireland who fell in World War I. Three hundred years from the first successful mass emigration from Ulster to America, Linde Lunney tells Helen why it's important to commemorate 1718 and the Rev. James McGregor, and in Derry, New Hampshire, Rick Holmes remembers this pioneering minister. Poems come from Davy Moore of east Antrim, and the Bard of Aghdowey, Wilson Burgess.
