This series offers highlights from acts who appeared as part of the Quay Sessions, recorded at the Â鶹Éç in Glasgow. This programme features Lewis musician C Macleod. Colin lives in Stornoway and readily acknowledges that his songs are all stories from the island and his community. His last album, released earlier this year, was produced by Ethan Johns. In July he signed a new recording contract with global music company BMG. In this showcase, Colin and his band of fellow islanders sing well-known tracks, including Old Fire, Shake the Walls, Dream and a cover of Runrig's Going Home.
