The police condemn the people who left two pipe bombs in a built-up area of Derry as criminals.
The police have condemned those who left two pipe bombs in a built-up area of the Waterside yesterday as reckless criminals. They devices were found during a seven-hour security alert at Montgomery Close on the Rossdowney Road.
And the mother of a Derry man who was shot dead by a vigilante group five years ago, has appealed to those behind an upsurge in paramilitary-style attacks to stop. There have been 15 gun attacks locally so far this year - two of which were within the last week. 24 year old Andrew Allen from the Waterside area of the city, was shot dead in Donegal in 2012. The self-styled Republican Action Against Drugs admitted responsibility.
