This Friday a new art exhibition will open in Edinburgh by artist Jacqueline Donachie. She is the first artist to have been awarded a new prize, The Freelands Award, initiated by Elisabeth Murdoch, set up to recognise the talents of women who are in the middle of their careers but haven't had the credit they deserve.
