Mark is joined by American bass guitarist, songwriter and vocalist Thundercat. He's collaborated with a wide range of artists including Erykah Badu, Stanley Clarke and Flying Lotus and was a key contributor to Kendrick Lamar's acclaimed album 'To Pimp a Butterfly.' Born Stephen Bruner in Los Angeles, his father is renowned jazz drummer Ronald Bruner, Sr, who has played with The Temptations, Diana Ross and Gladys Knight while his brother - Ronald Bruner, Jr - is a a Grammy award-winning drummer. In 2011, he released his first solo album 'The Golden Age of Apocalypse' which was co-produced by Flying Lotus. His latest album, released earlier this year, featured contributions from Kendrick Lamar, Kamasi Washington, Pharrell, Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald and Wiz Khalifa.
