On the marriage equality issue, an event organised at Westminster last night by the campaign group Love Equality was held in a room booked by the Sinn Fein MP Elisha McCallion.

The former Defence Secretary Sir Michael Fallon says he "categorically denies" allegations that he made inappropriate sexual comments to Commons Leader Andrea Leadsom
Reports in the Sun and the Daily Mail say Mrs Leadsom complained to Number 10 about her cabinet colleague, accusing him of making "lewd" remarks.

The Shadow Northern Ireland Secretary Owen Smith has criticised the government over its handling of the talks process.
Owen Smith said it was inexplicable that the Prime Minister had only visited Northern Ireland once in recent months and claimed she had done little to move the talks process forward.
He called on the Prime Minister to "get stuck in ".
