We investigate funeral plan comparison sites. Some websites that claim to offer comparisons of funeral plans may just be generating leads that are sold on to agents or funeral companies. Whilst there are sites that do allow you to compare funeral plans and services, much as you can with energy or insurance products, others do not provide any information up front at all. Instead they ask for your personal details which are then sold on to interested agents. The Funeral Planning Authority says funeral plan providers should not be working with websites that mislead customers.

Is dining out alone now socially acceptable? The Waitrose Food and Drink Report survey found that three quarters of us think it is. Has our confidence in asking for a table for one led to more new restaurants opening?
