At the halfway stage of their epic journey through Vietnam, the group have reached Quang Tri Province, which saw the fiercest fighting in the Vietnam War. The region is still experiencing its legacy, with unexploded bombs maiming local people. After stepping on a mine in 1996, Tu has a simple wooden leg which cost $30.
