Colum Arbuckle's guests are Gill Magill and John Livingstone. Both are retired teachers, but with very different tales to tell. Gill is a Lancashire lass who met her husband on a blind date and, after a few moves around England, came to live in Larne where she now spends much of her time writing crime fiction. John is originally from Belfast. He contracted TB when he was just 16 years old, met his future wife in hospital, qualified as a teacher and spent his professional career on the island of Jersey, where he still lives.
