NI's top prosecutor has said doctors who refer women for abortions in GB face no legal threat

Northern Ireland's top prosecutor has said doctors who refer women for abortions in Great Britain face no legal threat.

Northern Ireland's top prosecutor has said doctors who refer women for abortions in Great Britain face no legal threat. In a letter to Amnesty International, Barra McGrory also said there is no offence in the law of Northern Ireland around promoting abortion services. The move has been welcomed as a major breakthrough for women's rights by pro-choice campaigners. But it's been criticised by pro-life campaigners. So is it a welcome clarification of the law? Allowing medics to get on with their jobs? Or an unwelcome intervention that's putting the lives of unborn children at risk? Stephen got the views of pro-life campaigner Bernie Smith and Amnesty International's Grainne Teggert.

Also on the programme, EU says NI 'should have different Brexit deal' - does that sound like 'special status'? Stephen got the views of SDLP MLA Claire Hanna and Sinn Fein's John O'Dowd.

Plus, flooding victim calls on @StephenNolan to help him take on BT - and is delighted by the result.

And, Cormac McAnallen's life, death and legacy - his brother tells Nolan about his intimate and moving book.
