Insíonn Kate Crossan do Ghráinne Holland faoina saol mar cheoltóir agus faoin tréimhse a chaith sí i gCeanada agus an tionchar a bhí aige sin ar a cuid ceoil. Tháinig sí chun solais ar dtús leis an bhanna ceoil Éireannach-Ceanadach 'Kitty's Kitchen' ach insíonn sí scéal dúinn freisin faoin chineál ceoil a chas siad, mar shampla, cheol siad amhráin i nGaeilge faoi lumberjacks! Tá dlúthbhaint aici go fóill le Ceanada. I measc na n-amhrán a cheolann sí, tá amhrán in ómos do Dhoire le focail i bhfoirm dáin a ndeirtear gur chum Colmcille iad.

Kate Crossan tells Gráinne Holland about her life as a singer and the influence that Canada had on her music after spending some time there. She was first noticed as a member of the Irish-Canadian band 'Kitty's Kitchen' and she tells us about the type of songs they sang, such as a song in Irish about lumberjacks! She still has a strong bond with Canada. Amongst the songs she sings is a song in honour of Derry, comprising a poem that's reportedly written by Colmcille.
