From the Edinburgh Festivals: Zinnie Harris, Ed Byrne, Mark Steel and Tokio Myers
Janice Forsyth presents her show from the Edinburgh Festivals, with playwright Zinne Harris, a handful of comedians and music from Britain's Got Talent winner Tokio Myers.
Starting today, Janice presents her show from Edinburgh, with guests and music from across the festivals.
Janice is joined on the sofa by Edinburgh based playwright Zinnie Harris, who has three very different plays being staged simultaneously at the Edinburgh International Festival this year, Oresteia: This Restless House, Rhinoceros, and Meet Me At Dawn.
In Nina: A Story About Me and Nina Simone, Josette Bushell-Mingo describes her relationship with the life story and music of Nina Simone.
We'll have some sketch comedy from up and coming duo Giants, and stand-up comedian Dominic Holland returns to the Fringe for the first time in a decade, a period in which he's been eclipsed in showbiz by his super-hero son Tom, star of the new Spiderman film.
New York indie rocker Sam Shaber explains how her show began with a childhood obsession with Duran Duran, there's music from this year's Britain's Got Talent winner Tokio Myers, and debonair nine-piece The Choir of Man.
Plus Fringe comedy regulars Ed Byrne and Mark Steel offer some wise words of advice to debut Fringe comedians Harriet Braine and Andrew White.
