The Government's plan to stop all sales of petrol and diesel cars by 2040, does not go "far enough or fast enough" according to campaigners. The WWF and Friends of the Earth have called on the Scottish Government to include the phase out of new diesel and petrol cars by 2030, 10 years earlier than proposed by Westminster, in the forthcoming Climate Change Bill.
