Live coverage from the opening day of the 2017 Wimbledon Championships, featuring Haddad Maia v Robson, the start of Murray v Bublik, Medvedev v Wawrinka and Karlovic v Bedene.
Sue Barker introduces live coverage from the opening day of the 2017 Wimbledon Championships. As the defending champion, Great Britain's Andy Murray has the honour of opening play on Centre Court. He won his second men's singles title in 2016 following a brilliant victory over Canada's Milos Raonic in the final. Defending ladies' singles champion Serena Williams is absent due to her pregnancy, meaning the field is wide open.
It is the 90th anniversary of the 麻豆社's first radio broadcast at the Championships and the 80th since it was covered by the corporation's TV cameras.
