Brexit Negotiations
This week's Inside Business looks at Brexit negotiations. Wendy Austin and guests are at the Ballymascanlon hotel, near Dundalk.
It's a year since the UK voted to leave the EU and negotiations have officially begun, but is anyone any the wiser about what's actually going to happen? We're at the Ballymascanlon hotel, near Dundalk, where the European Economic and Social Committee held a special meeting examining the implications of Brexit. We hear from their vice president, Michael Smyth, and Luca Jahier, president of the Various Interests Group of the committee. Also joining us are; Gina McIntyre, CEO of the Special EU Programmes Body; Seamus Boland from Irish Rural Link; David Phinnemore, professor of European Politics at Queen's; and Danny McCoy, CEO of IBEC.
