Peterhead - Part One

In Peterhead, the UK's busiest fishing market, Josie d'Arby meets Jimmy Buchan and Philip Reid. Jimmy has fished his whole life and owns the Amity II. He and his trawler famously feature on the 麻豆社 series, Trawlermen. Amity II is now skippered by Phillip, at the start of his聽fishing career. The two men talk about how their faith has sustained them through often dangerous times at sea.

Stargazing Live was back on our screens last week so we sent The Rev. Kate Bottley to Jodrell Bank Observatory to find out more about the universe and meet Christian astro-physicist, Dr Althea Wilkinson. Althea tells Kate that she doesn't see faith and science as mutually exclusive and that her work exploring the universe shows her more of God and creation.

Youth Praise

Radzi Chinyanganya heads to All Souls in London to attend a very special service celebrating 50 years of the once revolutionary hymn book, Youth Praise. He meets one of the founders Michael Baughan who explains just how ground-breaking the songbook was and tells Radzi that the songs in Youth Praise are still being sung 50 years on.

Peterhead - Part Two

Josie d'Arby meets Paul Whitham, a volunteer in Peterhead's RNLI. He joined the service aged just 21 and is on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ready to save any boats or people that get into trouble. Paul tells Josie about how faith was a big part in his decision to join the RNLI and continues to motivate him.
