Rangers have made it to the quarter-finals after coming from behind at Ibrox to beat Motherwell and Morton 2-1 in the previous two rounds. Last season's runners-up - who have not played a Scottish Cup tie outside Glasgow since March 2014 - host Hamilton, who beat Dunfermline on penalties in the fifth round.
In the day's other tie, cup-holders Hibernian host fellow Championship side Ayr United who are bidding to reach the semi-finals for only the fourth time in their history.
