Coverage from Myreside as Edinburgh Rugby host Cardiff Blues as both sides seek a top six spot in the Pro12 league.

The Pro12 campaign has reached round 16 and every point is precious as teams battle for a prized place in next season's Champions Cup. Edinburgh will be looking to avenge the opening day defeat at Cardiff Arms Park when the Blues ran out comfortable 34-16 winners.

Both sides will be depleted with key players on Six Nations duty for their respective countries, although the journey to Scotland's capital will hold no fears for the Welsh side who have won on five of their last six league visits to the city.

Acting head coach Duncan Hodge has been frustrated by his side's inconsistency this season with victories over Ulster, Scarlets, Stade Francais and a double over Harlequins in Europe being balanced by defeats to lowly Dragons and Zebre.

With only a handful of games remaining this season, this game could go a long way to deciding if either side's campaign has been a success or a failure.
