Dominican College Portstewart
Anne Marie was on her best behaviour when she met up with two of her old teachers at a place she has fond memories and has spent so much time in. Dominican College Portstewart, is a castle that sits on a cliff that has magnificent views over the Promenade and the Atlantic Ocean. It's also famously known as O鈥橦ara's Castle but the college is now celebrating 100 years of the Dominican Education in the town and events will be running throughout the whole of 2017.
The Clans of Ulster Host Spring Imbolc Celebrations
Traditionally it鈥檚 one of four festivals that hail the coming spring. And no better place than the modern village of Eglish, at the Brantry Bard Centre. The event will commemorate the ancient tradition of Imbolc which welcomes the coming of the longer days. They鈥檒l be lots to do including learning how to make traditional bread, storytelling and music. Anne Maria talks to the Vice-Chairperson of The Clans of Ulster.聽
