Pallets dumped at bonfire sites in east Belfast - six months before the annual Eleventh Night event in July

Groups can get up to £5,000 for bonfire events - but they have to stick to a set of rules. One of them is you can't start collecting until June.

It's January, only six months to the eleventh night and people have already started collecting wood for the annual bonfires. Pallets have been left at two places in east Belfast - the Connswater greenway near Avoneil and the Cregagh Estate. Groups can get up to £5,000 for bonfire events for the 12th from the council - but they have to stick to a set of rules. One of them is you can't start collecting material for them until June.

Also on the programme: plans are afoot to add significantly to our existing cycle lane network. Proposals from minister Hazzard outline the potential for around 130 kilometres of what he calls 'convenient, comfortable, continuous and coherent bicycle routes for the city'.

The Supreme Court has rules that Parliament needs to vote on triggering Article 50 and devolved regions do not have a veto. Plus, an emotional Ross Hussey talks for the first and only time about being the victim of a tabloid sting.
